7’4″ Bob Simmons Model (Twin keel “transom tail”).

Inspired by Richard Kenvin’s explorations in all things Simmons (see www.hydronamica.com) and by inspecting a 10-foot Simmons original at the Surfing Heritage Foundation in San Clemente, CA. I incorporated the forward belly of the original, as well as the concave between the keels, and found a machine that drives remarkably well and that holds momentum. There is definitely room to experiment with and hone this concept.
